Well, today I saw this depressing news that the rest of February is supposed to still be significantly colder than normal here in Michigan. So I made this to try and make me feel better.
My Phalaenopsis orchids are just starting to bloom -- the first time ever I've gotten a second flush of flowers out of the things instead of having them die on me. Feeling just a bit of horticultural excitement in spite of myself.
So dainty and adorable...seeing them lifts my winter weary spirits, also . Thanks!
